🌱 Seeds Update
A New Chapter of Nourishment and Community
Hello friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing today to share some exciting updates and a few important changes happening here at Seeds.
🥣 Kitchen + Café Update
Last month, I shared that:
I’d soon be cooking again from a commercial kitchen,
and that there would be a café opening in town where you could enjoy my food every day.
As it turns out, getting the kitchen ready for production and into a place where I am ready to sell food regularly has taken longer than expected, and a few hurdles have slowed things down. Through this process, I’ve also had to take an honest look at my energy and capacity.
Here’s what that means:
I’ve chosen to focus the large majority of my attention on getting the café open and thriving.
For now, I’ll be pausing my meal offerings through this platform (no pre-orders or take-home meals for the time being).
The good news: in just a few weeks, you’ll be able to find my food seven days a week in a beautiful café space filled with intention, warmth, and a menu made with love.
🌿 Community Dinners at Centred
Alongside the café, I’m thrilled to share another heartfelt project:
Beginning this Saturday, we’ll be hosting our first Community Dinner at Centered — a beautiful studio led by Erica Heuer, who has been teaching, loving, and serving this community for over two decades.
These dinners will become a regular gathering, serving multiple purposes:
✨ Purpose
To bring people together — breaking bread as a family of humans in this lovely place we share.
To raise funds for those in need, offering nourishment through both food and generosity.
💛 The First Dinner Details
Date: November 15th 6pm-9pm
Location: Centred
Tickets: $34 per person
Menu: Surprise (abundance guaranteed)
Every dollar goes to support others:
$15 from each ticket → Wallah: Details on needs below
$19 from each ticket → Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund: Details below
This dinner will be cooked with love by a handful of people in the community volunteering their time and we can’t wait to share this meaningful evening together.
If this interest you and you want a ticket, do it quick! The meal is already half sold out.

🧡 Soups at Centred
The studio will also have a freezer stocked with soups, available by donation.
How It Works
Cost is Free if you need it and a minimum of $5 donation if you want it!
Donations can be made in person (look for the jar at Centred) or via e-transfer: Nourish@seedsyukon.ca
I’ll collect all donations and make a monthly payment to a charity of my hearts choosing.
A monthly update will be shared here on Substack to celebrate the funds raised and their reach.
Key Dates
First donation: December 11
Report + update: December 15
For this first round, I haven’t yet chosen the charity for the soups, and I’d love your input!
If you have an organization or cause you’d like to recommend, please leave a comment and share your thoughts. For now I want to keep this in Gaza.
Soups are already available in the freezer at Centred — ready for you to take home, enjoy, and contribute toward something beautiful.
🌸 With Gratitude
Thank you for walking alongside me through this evolving journey — for your support, kindness, and faith in what Seeds continues to grow into. I can’t wait to welcome you into the new café soon, and to see some of you at our first community dinner.
With warmth and gratitude,
dale Tremblay-Dulong
